and 19 days PIUDR (my new anacronym for post IUD removal - that’s just too long to type).
I’m feeling fortunate. Some sites about the Mirena mention some women waiting months, if not years to get a regular cycle back, and become fertile again. And then, they may have suffered scarring, or infections from the thing, making pregnancy even more difficult.
As for me, now I have the willies. Now that it seems it could really happen, I’m all back to freaking out about whether or not we can handle this. A fourth. Start all over in the baby arena. Diapers and lugging car seats. All night marathon nursings.
As for Mr. 4tops, he seems to have, well, relaxed with the idea. Meaning, he certainly hasn’t been concerned about prevention the last week or so. Of course, he’s not signing up for a 3 month minimum tour of the toilet while homeschooling 3 other children.
He says, yeah, but I have to be the husband of the grumpy, overwhelmed toilet hugger. Don’t. even.
